Possessives, свій and себе

A1–B1Pronouns 4 min

The possessives мій, твій, наш, ваш and ї́хній agree with the noun, while його́ and її́ never change. A possessive takes the gender, number and case of the thing owned, not of the owner: Це моя́ сестра́. Це мій брат.
